A one-person studio in Portugal

Rookspire makes game systems for Unreal Engine, software and websites, and builds to order.

The studio

Rookspire makes the systems a game needs before it becomes a game: interacting with the world, keeping a character alive, carrying things, and the menus around it all.

Each one is small on purpose, tested before it ships, and documented so you can change it. Each product page lists what the system does not do, because finding that out after buying is worse.

The same care goes into work for others: Unreal Engine systems and tools, prototypes, fixes and websites, with the scope, price and time agreed in writing first.

How the work is done

Evidence first

Nothing is called done without a test that passed. A new test must fail before a fix and pass after it, or it proves nothing.

Each system stands alone

No system references another. An automated check refuses any reference outside the product's own folder.

Built to open everywhere

Systems are built in UE 5.3 so they open in 5.3 and every later version, then tested again in the newest.

Honest listings

Only tested engine versions and platforms are claimed. Limits are written on the page, not in a reply to a review.

So far

  1. Four systems built and tested; Interaction 1.0 published on Fab.

  2. The studio's website, in twelve languages.

  3. Vitals, Inventory and Menus follow as each passes the full test gate.
